There is a difference in photo books
@gramofon.ua
How does Standard block differ from Lay flat?
Let's start with the fact that our photobooks consist of a cover and an inner unit. All our covers are hard and can be with a photo or decorated with fabrics, eco-leather or acrylic. You choose all photobook options yourself after choosing a template with the desired design. The main difference between the two types of photobook block is the method of attaching the pages to each other and directly to the cover.
Standard block
In this block, each sheet of the photo book is printed separately, and after that, all the sheets are gathered together and pasted into the spine. The depth of the root is about 1 cm, so the part of the image close to the middle of the spread will be hidden in the root. The image is digitally printed on both sides of the sheet, so they may show through the sheet somewhat.
pages are stapled together
We do NOT recommend placing the photo in the middle, because part of the spread will be "eaten" in the root
pages are flexible
price from UAH 379
minimum 26 pages, maximum 96
Lay Flat block
In this block, the image is printed with a spread (2 continuous pages). The spreads are glued together with the back part, and the first and last are glued directly to the cover. So the pages will be more dense, and the image in the middle of the spread will not disappear anywhere.
pages open 180°
you can place the photo in the middle, but there will still be a fold
pages are thick
price from UAH 749
minimum 24 pages, maximum 80 (46 for Satin PRO thickened paper)
